For more than fifteen years, Mark Waldoch, the founder of Speed Lunch™, has been involved in professional organizations and the majority of those years in a leadership role. He developed events for these organizations that provided the membership with value and the organizations with non-dues funding. Every organization he was involved with offered networking as part of their regular meetings. It seemed that networking was the main reason people joined organizations.

Mr. Waldoch developed and implemented the Sales Luncheon for Sales & Marketing Executives-Milwaukee in 2001/2002. It was wildly successful beyond anyone's expectation for three reasons. It took very little time out of the business day, it did not eat into personal time, and it provided value. Offering a networking session at lunch seemed like a natural success.
